By achieving a 98% recycling rate for construction and demolition debris, the new Froedtert and Medical College Clinical Cancer Center proved to be an innovative and noteworthy accomplishment for both Froedtert Hospital and Mortenson Construction. On America Recycles Day, more than 40 architects and construction professionals gathered to learn about this notable project, receipient of the 2007 Big Diverter Award for highest recycling rate on a project, and to hear from the project's architect and site-superintendent.
