WasteCap Resource Solutions Latest Results _ ____
WasteCap Resource Solutions and its clients have diverted 273,912 tons of construction and demolition waste from landfills, which is 98.6 pounds per person in the state of Wisconsin. An equivalent of 127,796 trees has been saved by recycling wood and cardboard. WasteCap Resource Solutions’ construction and demolition projects are currently achieving an average 74.6% recycling rate.

Construction & Demolition Recycling Training & Accreditation
Become an Accredited Professional in Construction Waste Recycling through WasteCap’s full-day training. This USGBC Education Provider Program will teach you how to meet LEED criteria for construction waste management and run a successful, cost-effective recycling program.
This program is eligible for 7.5 GBCI CE Hours for LEED Accredited Professionals.
After taking this course you will be able to:
· Develop, manage, monitor, document and promote a successful recycling program for C&D projects
· Expand the services you provide to clients
· Prepare construction waste management plans
· Monitor recycling program for compliance and efficiency, including identifying contamination
· Identify markets for reuse and recycling materials
· Document reuse and recycling results on projects both timely and accurately

WGBA Presents: LEED Green Associate Exam Prep
The Wisconsin Green Building Alliance will be hosting a LEED Exam Prep course on June 9 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Environmental Systems, Inc., in Brookfield, WI. This will fulfill the Eligibility Requirements to take the Green Associate Exam. Registration ends June 2, so hurry to sign up for this course.
The course will cover LEED Process, Sustainable Sites, Water Efficiency, Energy & Atmosphere, Materials & Resources, and Indoor Environmental Quality, Innovation in Design and Regional Priority. Lunch is provided.
